WICHITA, KANSAS - The Kansas Collegiate Athletic Conference 2009 Volleyball single-elimination post-season tournament will be held Saturday, November 7, through Saturday, November 14, for all ten conference teams - with seedings based on final regular-season KCAC Conference records and standings.

For tournament seedings, tie-breaks of the regular-season final standings were used. Tie-breaks do not affect regular-season final standings.

All tournament matches will be at higher seeded teams' campus sites.

Tabor College as regular-season champion and runner-up Friends University both will receive byes for the "play-in" first round on November 7.

In the play-in round Saturday (November 7), #10 Kansas Wesleyan University will be at #7 University of Saint Mary, at 2 pm; and #9 Southwestern College will play at #8 McPherson College, at 7 pm.

On Tuesday (November 10) in quarterfinals, with all matches at 7 pm, the four matches will be played at the higher seed campus sites: #2 Friends University hosts KWU-USM winner; #3 Sterling hosts #6 Bethany; #4 Bethel hosts #5 Ottawa; and #1 Tabor hosts McPherson-Southwestern winner.

The "final-four" advancing teams will be re-seeded for the semifinals on Friday (November 13), both matches to be played at Tabor College in Hillsboro at 6 pm and 8 pm.

The Saturday (November 14) tournament championship match between semifinals winners will be played at 7 pm, also at Tabor College in Hillsboro. The KCAC Conference volleyball awards ceremony will immediately follow the final match.

The KCAC Tournament champion will be the only team from the Kansas Conference to advance to nationals. The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics 2009 volleyball 30th annual national championships will begin Saturday, November 21, with 12 matches in the opening round at campus sites to be announced Sunday, November 15. Matches at the National Championship final site will be played December 1-5 with 24-team pool play and championship bracket matches in finals at Tyson Events Center/Gateway Arena in Sioux City, Iowa. KCAC Volleyball 2009 Tournament

Ticket Prices general-admission:

? Adults: $5.

? Event sites with multiple contests "back to back" in the same day, admission: ADULTS access to both matches, price = $7.00.

? Student with I.D. per event, (must show ID): price = $2.00.

? Children: Age Five and under (accompanied by adult): free admission.

? "Senior" (age over 55), price $5.

Programs: Tournament Programs will be available at all sites for $1.

Tournament PASSES: The only passes honored for tournaments are:

A. NAIA current passes (e.g., NAIA-issued chief executive, AD, FAR, SID membership cards).

B. The official KCAC lifetime passes (not the scouting and other such KCAC passes).

C. Any working press News-media passes. The working press/media members shall be admitted free if they have their own proper identification. If any questions at admission gate, check with local SID.

D. No school passes, no faculty/staff IDs, and no fan/parent lists will be honored for free admission.
