January 21, 2013 Wichita, Kan. - Trey Beachum of Bethany College has been named KCAC Player of the Week. The 6-1, Senior Guard from Dallas, Texas led the Bethany Swedes in two conference victories over Sterling and McPherson this week.On Thursday (Jan. 16), Beachum scored 14 points while pulling in seven rebounds against Sterling in a 78-73 home victory. Saturday (Jan. 19), Beachum recorded his career high of 25 points at McPherson, while adding five rebounds, as the Swedes defeated the Bulldogs 61-59.
