A quick run through twitter and facebook as well as our emails this morning indicates that National Signing Day in Kansas so far is going as expected.
While a few, including Wichita Heights Jet Moreland, and Derby's Chandler Shantz signed and faxed their letters of intent early, most signing ceremonies were scheduled for 10 or 11 AM at the various high schools in Kansas.
Others, including the junior college signings occurred a couple months ago with coaches in the Jayhawk Conference reaffirming our thoughts on players from two years ago being able to move on to Division I football. Butler alone sent a total of 15 players to Division I this season, many of them were Kansas high school graduates two years ago.
Also many Kansas players are signing with Division II colleges who are at the top of the pile when it comes to quality they put on the field.
Additional signings including many Junior College and NAIA signings can be found at our Kansas friends The Wichita Eagle and Kpreps.com which claims to have every signing in Kansas and includes grey shirts and walk ons. We also have this link to the Capital Journal Listings
It is a very busy day here in Kansas, and we hope to have more information for you as it becomes available to us here at Hovpen Sports
