February 20, 2013 Press Release Special to Hovpensports.com Related Links: Check for others called off Talk about it in Jayhawk JUCO HUTCHINSON-PRATT BASKETBALL GAMES POSTPONED BECAUSE OF WEATHER Because of the major winter storm that has blanketed the state of Kansas, the Hutchinson Community College men's and women's basketball games scheduled for Wednesday night at Pratt have been postponed. Poor road conditions already existed early Wednesday morning. The forecast for later in the day had heavy snow and the possibility of icy conditions prompted the decision to call off the games. The games will be rescheduled for Monday February 25. The women's game will be at 6 p.m. and the men's game at 8 p.m. at the Dennis Lesh Sports Arena in Pratt. This means that both Blue Dragon teams will close out the regular season playing three games in five days. Hutchinson will play host to Cloud County on Saturday, which is Hall of Fame Night, the Chili and Pie Feed Night and Sophomore Night. After playing Pratt on Monday, the Blue Dragons will play at Seward County next Wednesday. The No. 3-ranked Lady Dragons have a two-game lead on Garden City in the Jayhawk West standings. The sixth-ranked Blue Dragon men's team is tied with Seward County for the men's conference lead..
